It is important to realise that there is a difference between a hypnotherapist and a hypno-psychotherapist. A hypno-psychotherapist, as recognised by the UK Council for Psychotherapy Hypno-Psychotherapy Section, is a person who has undertaken a minimum of 4 years of training (1400 hours) in hypnosis as well as its applications within psychotherapy. Hypno-Psychotherapy is still brief therapy, but hypno-psychotherapist can employ both hypnotic and psychotherapeutic based interventions in order to assist clients reach their goals. I have been a registered Hypno-Psychotherapist since 1996, as well as being a acredited hypnotherapist since 1989.
I am a UKCP, EAP, EAHP, and WCP, Registered Hypno-Psychotherapist, a Board Certified Hypnotherapist , and a UKCHO Registered Hypnotherapist. I am totally committed to the empowerment of the individual. I see clients in my comfortable Victorian Consulting Rooms in Chorlton cum Hardy, Greater Manchester. 3 Miles from the City Centre of Manchester. I work from a very strong ethical position with care of the client being my primary concern always.
I incorporate Clinical Hypnosis and Ericksonian Hypnotherapy with NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), Counselling and Psychotherapy to assist my clients to achieve their goals.
I have utilised hypnosis since 1989 for the treatment of:

· anxiety conditions (eg stage fright, flight anxiety, general anxiety disorder, blushing, psychological skin conditions, and phobia treatments)

The National College of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy Established in 1977, the National College of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy run UKCP recognised Hypno-Psychotherapy courses in London, Liverpool, Leeds, Oxford, Manchester and Glasgow. The NCHP is accredited by the British Accreditation Council for Independent Further and Higher Education and is a member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy, the European Association for Hypno-Psychotherapy, the European Association for Psychotherapy and the National Council for Hypnotherapy. I am the National College's 5th Principal since its founding.
